Cancer Care Center
The AHD Cancer Care Center offers comprehensive oncology and hematology services. It was the first hospital in Dubai to provide one-stop cancer care and the first private facility to offer hematopoietic stem cell and bone marrow transplants.
Heart Center
The Heart Center is a regional hub for cardiac care, providing minimally invasive and robotic-assisted surgeries. AHD is also the first private hospital in the UAE recognized as an American Heart Association (AHA) International Training Center for life support programs.
Robotic Surgery
AHD was an early adopter of robotic-assisted surgery in the UAE. Its da Vinci Xi Robotic Surgical System supports multi-organ procedures, and over 2,000 robotic surgeries have been performed since 2020.
Orthopaedics
The Total Joint Replacement Center of Excellence is the first in the Middle East and among only four worldwide. AHD has partnered with Zimmer Biomet to use the ROSA® Knee System, providing world-class outcomes for international patients.
Critical Care
AHD’s ICU has 43 beds, including 4 Pediatric ICU beds and a Neonatal ICU. The multidisciplinary ICU team supports the Hayat Organ Donation Programme and achieves some of the region’s best clinical outcomes.
The American Children’s Centre
Opened in November 2022, the American Children’s Center offers comprehensive pediatric care in a child-friendly environment. With 45+ consultants across 20+ pediatric subspecialties, the center covers neurology, neurosurgery, ENT, gastroenterology, pulmonology, allergy, immunology, psychiatry, and more. Facilities include pediatric and neonatal ICUs, speech therapy, and physical therapy units. The American Center for Epilepsy provides advanced diagnosis and treatment for pediatric epilepsy.
