Six academic medical centres from the GCC achieved Top 100 global rankings in 2025:


King Faisal Specialist Hospital & Research Center (KFSH&RC), Riyadh – Saudi Arabia


Ranked 15th globally, KFSH&RC remains the top academic medical centre in the MENA region for the third consecutive year. Renowned for pioneering research and innovation, the hospital achieved a major milestone in January 2025 with the world’s first robotic-assisted implantation of an artificial heart pump.


Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi – United Arab Emirates


Ranked 22nd globally, Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi is a flagship academic medical centre combining US-based Cleveland Clinic standards with regional expertise.
